(Buttonwillow, CA) California Roadrace Association (CRA), the new racing organization in Central California, has released the provisional rules and class structure for its inaugural season.

“Our goal is to have multiple classes for most modern motorcycles,” said Dustin Coyner, co-founder of California Roadrace Association. “We are also adding some longer races.”

There will be multiple eight-lap sprint races for bikes that you see at most race organizations: 1000s, 600s, 400s and Twins. However, CRA is adding grids for American Iron (the ‘Baggers’) and electric motorcycles, as well.

In addition to the sprints, CRA will have longer format GT races. Open and Middleweight bikes will have 20 laps, while Twins and Ultralightweight bikes will have 16 laps.
