California Roadrace Association: Farris Takes win over Prince in Gold Cup at Podium Club
[Casa Grande, AZ] California Roadrace Association (CRA) held the second round of its 2023 season at Podium Club at Attesa, in Casa Grande, Arizona. Racers came from everywhere: Northern and Southern California, Arizona, Texas, and even Canada. The paddock was full, which resulted in healthy grids for every class and several reaching 30 plus entries. The weather was unseasonably warm but with sunny skies from the first green flag to the last checkered one.
Wyatt Farris and his Motorsport Exotica/BST Vodka BMW M 1000 RR started off the weekend strong during practice and qualifying and never let up. Farris Picked up multiple wins, including Sunday’s premier race – the 12-lap CTML Gold Cup. Bryce Prince and his BPR Yamaha YZF-R1 provided stiff competition and kept Farris honest all weekend long. Rounding out the podium in third place was Anthony “Lugnut” Norton on his Kawasaki ZX-10R.
