CAMERON GISH SCORES FIRST SPONSOR IN QUEST TO WIN 2014 AMA PRO SUPERSPORT CHAMPIONSHIP

Talented Rider One Step Further in AMA Pro Road Racing Endeavor

Shingle Springs, CA  – Cameron Gish, a former Red Bull Rookies Cup competitor and 2013 AFM three-class champion, has secured his first sponsor, Dr. David Benkle Optometry, to help him fulfill his mission of racing in this year’s AMA Pro Road Racing Series with Team RoadRace Factory | Red Bull.

Dr. Benkle sponsored Cameron in previous AFM and AMA SuperSport appearances. After hearing about Cameron’s offer to ride on the 2014 RoadRace Factory | Red Bull team and reviewing his sponsorship proposal, he thrilled Cameron with his decision to sign on again.

“I am so appreciative for the opportunity to work with Dr. Benkle this season,” said Cameron. He has been an instrumental part of my career the last two years, and the fact that he is just as excited about the upcoming season as I am really goes to show how good an opportunity my offer from Team RoadRace Factory | Red Bull is, not only from a racer’s standpoint, but from a sponsor’s standpoint as well.”

Dr. Benkle’s enthusiasm is evident. “For the past five years I have been passionate about helping young talent in the U.S. take their racing to the next level,” he said. Whether that’s moving up in club racing or racing as an AMA professional, it’s important that we who love this sport do what we can to help our kids compete at the highest levels. I feel that Cameron is one of those rare kids with the talent and maturity to push himself hard and make it to that next level, and I’m proud to be his sponsor.”
