CAMMRA JOINS WERA MOTORCYCLE ROADRACING AT THE 2011 GRAND NATIONAL FINALS AT ROAD ATLANTA IN OCTOBER!

WERA Motorcycle Roadracing has invited CAMMRA Mini Roadracing Association to the Grand National Finals at Road Atlanta October 26-30. Cam Morehead, founder of CAMMRA, teamed up with Phil Herrin, owner of the Middle Georgia Kart Track, to start a mini road racing club to ensure the youth racers would have a place to train. CAMMRA is a grass roots mini organization focused on fun and affordable racing. They take pride in training the youth to safely enter the sport of motorcycle road racing. WERA has a long history of training the next generation of Pro motorcycle road racers and this joint venture assures the future of the sport.

Middle Georgia Kart Track is the home track for CAMMRA and the entire Herrin family has been a huge part of the success of CAMMRA. Phil Herrin has made it clear that he will do anything in his power to continue to support young riders aspiring to further themselves in the sport of motorcycle Roadracing. His son Josh Herrin has helped to coach kids and spread the word about MGKT and CAMMRA.

The WERA Grand National Finals will be the perfect weekend to witness the progression of racers from the five year old rider all the way up to the Pro Rider. CAMMRA will be holding exhibition races Saturday and Sunday of the event during the lunch break in the Turn 7 area at Road Atlanta.
