Jodi Christie Injured in Motocross Training Incident
Keene, ON — May 6, 2015 — Reigning Canadian Superbike Champion Jodi Christie was injured in early April when he took a tumble from his Honda CRF450F, but is expected to make a complete recovery in time for the first CSBK round next month. In a fluke incident, Jodi crashed his motocross bike and took a handlebar to his midsection, resulting in injuries to his kidney and spleen area. The Accelerated Technologies/Honda Canada rider is expected to make a full recovery and has already resumed training for the upcoming national tour. The 2015 CSBK season kicks off at Calabogie Motorsports Park on June 12-14.
Jodi Christie: “I just want to thank everyone for their calls and concerns, and to assure my friends and sponsors that I am up and doing well. I am already back training and focusing on the season ahead, and looking forward to seeing everyone next month. I can’t wait to get on my new Honda CBRs at Calabogie for the season opener.”
