For Immediate Publication – Waznie Racing Brantford ON Canada – June 16th 2010 Szoke Splashes to Victory During Round #1 of the CMA Trials Championship on his GasGas300 As raindrops fell heavily on the fifteen carefully laid out sections, event organizers rallied all 40 riders to discuss if mother nature had dampened their spirits enough to reschedule Round #1 of the CMA Observed Trails Championship. Not to be discouraged, event organizers worked hard and tirelessly in the muck to cut back the sections to a challenging eight. Around noon, Szoke turns a tire in his Raga GasGas300 in Oshweken ON to attempt once again, to be the slowest man in Canada on a motorcycle. Riding in soupy clay and standing water took a bit of getting used to as Jordan scored 16 of his total 21 points in the first loop. For the remainder of the trial Szoke kept his feet up and his mind focused and only scored 5 points in the final three loops to take the victory. “It feels good to start off my title defense with a win.” says Szoke. “It sucks that the rain ruined some of the sections, I really was looking forward to riding them all. It was extremely well run event and I really appreciate the hard work and effort the organizers put into it.” Jordan’s good friends, and 09 TDN teammates, Jonathan English came in second with a score of 29 and Andrew Young took home a third place with a score of 50.
