Canadian Superbike Television News For Our Friends North Of The Border

TORONTO, Ont. (August 24) Fans of the Parts Canada Superbike Championship will get twice the excitement this week as TSN HD and TSN provide coverage of the fourth and fifth rounds of the 2009 season from Mosport International Raceway in Bowmanville, Ont. The two, one-hour programs will air on consecutive days. Round four will premier on Tuesday, August 25 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern and repeat on Friday, August 28 at 4:00 a.m. Eastern. Round five debuts Wednesday, August 26 at 1:00 p.m. and repeats on Saturday, August 29 at 4:00 a.m. Once again, these times are Eastern. The Mosport doubleheader weekend is always a critical stop in the Parts Canada Superbike Championship as the series passes the midway pole. In addition to footage of the Superbike races, there will also be coverage of the Yoshimura Pro Sport Bike class, Armour Bodies Amateur Sport Bike, Suzuki SV650 National Cup and Honda CBR125R Challenge races on the legendary 3.9km (2.459-mile), 10-turn Mosport track. This week’s programs are the fourth and fifth of eight to be shown through the summer and into the fall on TSN and TSN HD (full broadcast schedule is listed below). Follow the twists and turns of the Parts Canada Superbike Championship with your hosts Pat Gonsalves and Colin Fraser as it criss-crosses the country from Nova Scotia to Alberta. The 2009 season will also be shown this year on the RDS French language network. Check local listings for dates and times.
