Carson City welcomes AMA International Women & Motorcycling Conference with proclamation PICKERINGTON, Ohio — In advance of this year’s American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) International Women & Motorcycling Conference, the host city of Carson City, Nev., has proclaimed the week of July 23-29, 2012, as AMA International Women & Motorcycling Week. The proclamation recognizes the passion and dedication of the women motorcyclists who will attend the AMA International Women & Motorcycling Conference, July 26-29, and notes that the residents and businesses of Carson City and the surrounding area wholeheartedly welcome the attendees of the event. “Carson City is proud to host the AMA International Women & Motorcycling Conference,” said Mayor Robert Crowell, who will read the proclamation at the July 19 meeting of the Carson City Board of Supervisors.
