Cascade Tracktime Announces 2008 Schedule, New Racer School

There are many exciting things going on with Cascade Tracktime for 2008. Our home track, Portland International Raceway (PIR), has recently been repaved and reconfigured. The old surface and layout was fun, but the new changes promise to be more challenging, and the new surface is a welcomed improvement. We are proud to be the “Official Motorcycle Trackday” of PIR (more details at www.portlandraceway.com). We are returning to Reno-Fernley and Miller Motorsports Park for 2008 and are working on adding November dates at Laguna Seca. As previously announced, Cascade Tracktime is now the Pirelli Race Tire supplier for Oregon. We will be at all motorcycle track events at PIR to support trackday riders and racers alike. As always, Cascade Tracktime has sponsored 25 club racers (new novices and experts) who will compete in the OMRRA series. This program has been very successful over the years providing discounted trackdays and other perks to those who participate in our racer support program. New for 2008, some of our events will also include a New Racer School (NRS). Trackday riders wishing to take the next step and compete at the club level can begin the process by completing our OMRRA approved new racer school.
