Century Trucks & Vans To Sponsor CMRA Formula Two Class and Three Shootout rounds

Grand Prairie, Texas-based Century Trucks & Vans has stepped up in support of motorcycle road racing by sponsoring Formula 2 Expert and three Shootout rounds in that same class for the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association’s (CMRA) 2017 season.

In a staggering $10,000 total purse for a lightweight class that is dominated by the Suzuki SV650s, Century Trucks & Vans is offering the following per-round payouts: Formula 2 Expert – 1st $100, 2nd $75, 3rd $50. Payouts will be in the form of a Visa prepaid card.

Century Trucks & Vans is also sponsoring three Shootout rounds in Formula Two Expert that will pay to 10th place.The first of the Shootout rounds will be held at the NOLA round in March, with the other dates announced as they are finalized. Payouts will be as follows: 1st $750, 2nd $500, 3rd $300, 4th $200, 5th $100, 6th $75, 7th $50, 8th $30, 9th $20, 10th $10. Payouts will be in the form of a Visa prepaid card.

Daniel Adams, General Manager of Century Trucks & Vans and CMRA’s 2015-season Overall Champion (carrying the Number One plate in 2016), said “We are excited to present this opportunity to the best road racing club in the country. For the last eight years Century Trucks & Vans has sponsored our own riders, and we captured the overall Number 1 plate for 2016. This is the second year we are proposing a challenge to all riders from all classes and clubs to come participate in the largest contingency payouts in the club. The lightweight classes are on the rise again with the reintroduction of the SV and the new FZ-07. We expect the 2017 season to be the best season yet with new riders and bikes coming out for their shot at the purse.”
