There has been a change to the AMA Pro Road Racing schedule for Friday at Daytona International Speedway. Originally, the Daytona SportBike class, which races the Daytona 200, was slated to have a single, 45-minute final qualifying session between 1:10 and 1:55 p.m. today. That session has now been split into two, shorter 20-minute sessions the first from 1:10 1:30 p.m. for the slower half of the field and the second from 1:35 1:55 p.m. for the quicker half. The provisional Daytona SportBike qualifying session, scheduled for 8:45 to 9:35 a.m. Friday morning, remains a single session.
