Chicken Hawk Racing Signed as a Technical Supplier to Honda WorldSBK Team

RED HOOK, N.Y. — Chicken Hawk Racing Inc. is proud to announce that it will be an Official Technical Supplier to the Honda WorldSBK Team for 2017, to run its world-renown Professional Series motorcycle tire warmers. Both parties have the intention of signing a multi-year Technical Supplier agreement.

In 2007, Chicken Hawk Racing began selling tire warmers in Europe, so the alliance with Honda’s WorldSBK Team is a natural fit. Both of the squad’s world-championship-winning riders–American Nicky Hayden (2006, MotoGP) and Germany’s Stefan Bradl (2001, Moto2)–have previously raced on Chicken Hawk tire warmers.

In addition to running Chicken Hawk Racing’s digitally operated Professional Series tire warmers on its new 2017 CBR1000RR Fireblade SPs, the Honda WorldSBK Team will utilize the company’s Chicken Wrap Wheel Insulators. All products will have custom colors and branding to suit the team and its sponsors.

Chicken Hawk Racing founder David Podolsky is excited to be aligned with the Honda WorldSBK Team racing effort: “The team evaluated our product at the last two tests and we’re proud to say they saw an advantage to utilizing our Professional Series warmers.

“Tires are developing so quickly and are such an important ingredient to winning, so proper preheating is crucial. Working with Honda WorldSBK Team Technical Manager Pieter Breddels, we’ll surely stay on the cutting edge of development.”

Founded in 1992, Chicken Hawk Racing Inc. specializes in industrial-grade electric heaters. The Red Hook, New York-based company designs, builds and services the the most rugged tire warmers for all types of motorsports–from world championship race series to local track days.
