Riders get more with Michelin at fifth AMA International Women & Motorcycling Conference, presented by Harley-Davidson and Buell PICKERINGTON, Ohio — The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) is pleased to welcome Michelin North America to its sponsor lineup at the fifth AMA International Women & Motorcycling Conference, presented by Harley-Davidson and Buell, in Keystone, Colo., Aug. 19-22. Michelin will be on hand at the conference with their motorcycle event truck, and representatives will recommend the proper Michelin fitment for motorcycles and answer any tire-related questions. In addition, Michelin Sales Account Manager Danny Gilreath will conduct tire safety seminars to teach the basics of proper tire care and maintenance — including how to check tire pressure, examine tread depth properly and how to read a tire’s sidewall. “Michelin is very excited to be a corporate sponsor of this year’s conference,” said Sherri Martin, communications manager for Michelin motorcycle tires. “Michelin is a huge supporter of women riders.
