Checking in from the press launch for the 2016 Ducati 959 Panigale at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit in Valencia, Spain:

Ducati has tweaked the chassis and upgraded the engine on the replacement for the 899. The highlights are a revised 955cc Superquadro engine, a relocated (lower) swingarm pivot and new bodywork with tweaks to the styling and aerodynamics.

I can tell you that the 959 is fun to hustle around the racetrack!

Look for all the tech details and my full riding impression in an upcoming issue of Roadracing World.
