Every winter, the Landers Racing crew heads out to the CVMA (Chuckwalla Valley Motorcycle Association) races at Chuckwalla to develop new race bikes, stay sharp, and prepare for the upcoming MotoAmerica races. This past winter, the Landers Racing riders, Ben Gloddy and Rocco Landers, were able to shake their MotoAmerica race bikes down and begin to prepare for the season.
“The Landers Racing Team has always been one of my favorite teams in the paddock, and we love seeing them grow and get faster every year. Rocco is such a great kid, and the whole Landers family is such a big part of our sport; we are honored to have the opportunity to be a part of their 2021 season”, said Micky Grana, President of Chuckwalla Raceway.
Stoney Landers had this to say, “We always stay busy in the off-season with training and racing. It is so convenient and valuable to have a legitimate race series that operates during the winter in sunny California. The place is a proving ground for riders such as Corey Alexander, Michael Gilbert, Aussie Dave, the Calishine racing crew, and many others that race in MotoAmerica. The ownership at Chuckwalla has really stepped up in regards to how serious they are about expanding this series by committing to a very healthy purse payout schedule to give back to all the racers that have supported CVMA over the years.”
Rocco Landers had this to say, “Micky, Kevin, Brooke, Aimee, and Emily are the best! It is like a big family out at Chuckwalla. Everyone from the crew in registration to the corner workers, race director, and the racers are all are great to be around. We usually race on Saturday and go bang bars with my buddies Saturday night over at the TT Flat Track! I now can’t wait to go rip at CVMA this winter on my Yamaha R6!”
