A selection of classic premier class races from 1992-2008 can now be viewed in Hi-Res on motogp.com. MotoGP fans now have an enhanced opportunity to look back in time on motogp.com, thanks to the launch of a new Hi-Res MotoGP Classics VideoPass which provides access to an exclusive collection of the most exciting battles in the premier class since 1992. Priced at Euro 24.95 the new MotoGP Classics VideoPass features a selection of 17 full-length races, specially remastered for an unprecendented experience of MotoGP’s finest hours, featuring the likes of Wayne Rainey, Kevin Schwantz, Mick Doohan, Valentino Rossi and many more. Indeed, the first race in the new Hi-Res package is the 1992 Catalunya duel between Rainey and Doohan, which the former won by just 0.057s. Also featured are Norick Abe’s remarkable debut at Suzuka in 1994, when he tore away in front of Schwantz and Doohan before crashing out, and the 1996 Brno race which saw Alex Criville beat Doohan in the closest finish in GP history at the picturesque and historic Czech circuit. The selection also includes some unforgettable modern four-stroke classics such as Rossi’s historic first Yamaha victory, as he overcame the Hondas of Max Biaggi and Sete Gibernau at Welkom in South Africa in 2004, and the three-way 2007 Catalunya battle between Rossi, Casey Stoner and home rider Dani Pedrosa, eventually won by Stoner on the last corner. Rounding off the MotoGP Classics collection is the superb battle between Rossi and Stoner at Laguna Seca last year, in which the Italian pulled off an outrageous piece of overtaking at the bottom of the corkscrew to take the advantage in the title race.
