CMRA and USNE with Red Bull at MotorSport Ranch This Weekend
This weekend, August 22 – 23, 2015, the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) heads to MotorSport Ranch in Cresson, just 14 miles southwest of Fort Worth Texas. This will be the second points stop for the CMRA this season at the challenging 1.7 mile, 11-turn road course, which will be run counter clockwise this weekend. This weekend will also be Round 3 for the US National Endurance Series (USNE).
The weekend’s activities begin Friday with a Lone Star Track Days practice day and CMRA License school beginning at 8:00 a.m. LSTD registration opens at 7:00 a.m. and pre-registration is not required. Post-entry for the CMRA races is available at the track beginning 3:00 pm Friday, August 21.
Red Bull will be out all weekend with the Wings team handing out product samples, Saturday will feature the Red Bull Oculus, a four person 3D flight simulator of the race course for the upcoming Red Bull Air Race at Texas Motor Speedway, September 26-27, 2015. Sunday the MXT military truck will be at the track streaming race feed during the day.
Saturday’s schedule includes a full slate of Mini and Lightweight sprint races followed by Round 2 of the Solo 30 races, and concluding with the combined 6 Hour Championship Endurance and Round 3 US National Endurance Series races.
There will be a special podium awards ceremony at the track immediately following the finalized results of Saturday’s endurance event.
Sunday’s schedule is jam-packed with a full day’s worth of competitive Big Bike sprint races. Among the exciting classes not to be missed is the Breast Cancer Research Foundation / P1 Racing Formula 1 Expert class. In addition to a cash purse totaling $14,000 paid out to the top Formula 1 Expert finishers over the course of the 2015 season, a portion of each entry fee is donated to Breast Cancer Research.

Sign up forms for the First Annual CMRA Benefit Golf Tournament and CMRA Annual Awards Banquet will also be available at this event.
Gates open each day at 6:00 a.m. and we race rain or shine! Weekend entry into the event is only $15 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and just $10 on Sunday. Tickets are good for the entire weekend. Ride your street bike to the event and you’ll pay just $5 for entry on both Saturday and Sunday! Kids 12 and under are free. A spectator lap of the track will be conducted during the lunch break on Sunday, schedule and weather permitting.
Please note that no pets are allowed at any of the CMRA race events.
