As the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) heads into its 2019 opening round February 15 -17 at MSR Houston, a good lineup of Class Sponsors is forming for the Expert and Novice sprint classes as well as Lightweight Endurance. Payouts of cash, race entry vouchers, discount certificates, gift cards, and merchandise total $22,225 in sponsor prizes are available. There is also a special award and shootout in the mix for the 2019 season.

Full Season Award and Bonus Payout
Jennifer Millsap Fight Like A Girl Award: The award is $250 per weekend to the racer with the most points accumulated in the races that qualify for the Expert Overall HW, MW, LW, ULW #1 plates. At the end of the year, a $2500 award will be presented at the Annual Awards banquet to the racer that has earned the most points across all rounds in the season in those classes.
The award is offered on behalf of the Jennifer Millsap Foundation in recognition of Jennifer’s dedication and contributions to the CMRA.
“Legends Race” Formula 40 HW Expert Shootout
Offered by The Realtime Group/Shakespeare, this 3 round shootout has a special cash purse for the shootout weekends paying to 5th place: 1st $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $150, 4th $125, 5th $100. The shootout rounds are: May 19 at Hallett, August 18 at Cresson, and October 27 at Houston.
