CMRA: Dustin Dominguez Wins, Breaks Lap Record At NOLA Motorsports Park

Dustin Dominguez Breaks Lap Record for the Second Time in One Weekend

Formula 1 Expert winner Dustin Dominguez dominated on the track this weekend, breaking the lap record for the second time this weekend during the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association’s (CMRA) second round of CMRA Championship and Ultra-Lightweight sprints this past Sunday, March 24, on the 16-turn, 2.75 mile long course at NOLA Motorsports Park, in Avondale, Louisiana.

During the A Superbike Expert race Dustin Dominguez broke the track record he set on Saturday. He turned a fast lap time of 1:44.268 along with winning the Formula 1 Expert Race.

Kyle Fox set out to win races this past weekend bringing home three first place wins! Fox earned first place in 250 Superbike Expert with an overall fast lap of 2:04.911, first in Formula 40 Middleweight Expert with a personal fast lap of 1:50.208, and first in 250 Superstock Expert with an overall fast lap of 2:05.494.

Walter Walker III also brought home three first place finishes turning some fast laps! Walker earned first place in Lightweight Twins Expert with an overall fast lap of 1:54.748, first in Modern Classic with a overall fast lap of 1:51.007, and D Superbike Expert with a personal fast lap of 1:56.398.

Dezrae Caldwell was an outstanding novice racer this past weekend bringing home three first place races as well! Caldwell earned first place in 300 Superbike Novice with a novice overall fast lap of 2:02.293, 500 GP Novice with an overall novice fast lap of 2:01.562, and 500 Superstock Novice with an overall fast lap of 2:02.155.

Dennis Black also shined by not only winning three first place but also turned the fastest time on during the weekend races for the novice racers. Black ran the fastest time of all the novice racers during the A Superbike Novice race with a fast lap of 1:51.940 bringing him to one of three first place finishes. Black also earned first place in Formula 40 Heavyweight with an overall novice fast lap of 1:52.876, and Formula 1 Novice with an overall fast time of 1:52.105.
