This coming weekend, February 9-11, the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) opens its 2018 race season at MSR Houston in Angleton, Texas. The track is located just 30 minutes south of Houston off of Highway 288.

Saturday’s schedule includes Mini and Ultra-Lightweight Sprint races, the Ultra-Lightweight Team 60 race, and the opening round of the CMRA Championship Endurance Series. Sunday’s schedule is jam-packed with a full day’s worth of competitive Bridgestone/CMRA Championship Sprint races. Among the exciting classes not to be missed is Century Trucks and Vans – Formula 2 Expert, South Central Race Center – C Superstock Expert, and P1 Racing – First 600 to the Finish – Formula 1 Expert award.
Gates open each day at 6:00 a.m. and we race rain or shine! Weekend tickets to the event are only $20 on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and just $10 on Sunday. There is a $5 wristband refund for participants leaving Saturday night – turn in your wristband at the gate as you leave. Tickets are good for the entire weekend. Ride your street bike to the event and you’ll pay just $5 for entry on both Saturday and Sunday! Kids 12 and under are free. A spectator lap of the track will be conducted during the lunch break on Sunday, schedule and weather permitting.
