CMRA racer Chase Vivion was injured on Saturday night when his pickup truck was involved in a roll-over accident during heavy rain and a GSX-R600 engine in the cab of the truck landed on him. Vivion put the 2007 engine in the cab because he had just picked it up from an engine builder and did not want it to get wet. According to friends and family, Vivion suffered a non-displaced fracture of the C5 vertebrae and has been fitted with a neck brace. He also suffered a ruptured artery in the neck, head trauma and injuries from flying glass. Vivion is currently hospitalized at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. More information will be posted when it becomes available.
