CMRA Racers To Have Their Work Featured In MotoArt Show In Flower Mound, Texas

CMRA Racers Featured In Motorcycle Themed Art Show

CMRA racers and artists Mark Niemi and Shandra Crawford are two of the featured artists in the first MotoArt Show in the Dallas/Fort Worth area at the Premier Gallery in Flower Mound, Texas. The show opens this Friday, October 10, with an artists reception from 5:30 pm to 10:30 pm, and will run through October 31, 2014.This unique show features motorcycle inspired and industrial art ranging from abstract paintings to metal sculptures that lie outside the normal range of traditional art. Niemi does stylized renderings of engines, top ends, valves, and other designs. Crawford does sculpture and steampunk style jewelry made from gears, chains, and various other parts. Other featured pieces will be two custom restoration cafe style motorcycles from Sofi Tsingos of GT Cafe for Cause, a cancer fundraiser, and a custom restoration cafe racer motorcycle from Junior Burrell of Retro Moto.
