The Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association returns to Eagles Canyon Raceway, in Decatur, Texas this weekend This coming weekend, August 4 – 7, 2011, the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) returns to action at Eagles Canyon Raceway. Located just outside of Decatur, Texas, this weekend marks event number seven in the CMRA’s 2011 race season. This will be the second of three stops for the CMRA this season at the challenging 2.5 mile, 11 turn road course, which will be run in the counter-clockwise direction. The event schedule kicks off on Friday, August 5th with a track day, racer practice and CMRA License School provided by Lone Star Track Days. Saturday’s schedule includes a full slate of Mini sprint races and a 6-Hour Mini endurance race with a $1250 cash purse provided by Shogun Motorsports and Brooks Gremmels. Sunday’s schedule is jam-packed with a full day’s worth of fast and furious Big Bike sprint races. Entry fees into the event are good for all weekend and are only $15 on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, and just $10 on Sunday. Ride your street bike to the event and you’ll pay just $5 for entry on both Saturday and Sunday! Kids 12 and under are free. A spectator lap of the track will be conducted during the lunch break on Sunday, schedule and weather permitting.
