The Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association Returns to Hallett Motor Racing Circuit, Hallett, Oklahoma This Weekend This coming weekend, July 8 – 10, 2011, the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) returns to action at Hallett Motor Racing Circuit. Located just outside of Hallett, Oklahoma, this weekend marks event number six in the CMRA’s 2011 race season just past the halfway point. This will be the second of two stops for the CMRA this season at the challenging 1.8 mile, 11 turn road course, which will be run in the counter-clockwise direction. The event schedule kicks off on Friday, July 8th with a CMRA-sanctioned racer practice day and CMRA licensing school. Saturday’s schedule includes a full slate of Mini sprint races, a 3-Hour Mini endurance race and finished up with a 4-Hour Big Bike endurance race. The 3-Hour Mini endurance race is sponsored by Shogun Motorsports and Brooks Gremmels and features a generous $1250 cash purse. Sunday’s schedule is jam-packed with a full day’s worth of exciting and competitive Big Bike sprint races. Entry fees into the event are good for all weekend and are only $20 on Thursday and Friday, $15 on Saturday, and just $10 on Sunday. Ride your street bike to the event and you’ll pay just $5 for entry on both Saturday and Sunday! Kids 12 and under are free. A spectator lap of the track will be conducted during the lunch break on Sunday, schedule and weather permitting.
