This coming weekend, June 10 – 12, 2011, the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) returns to action at Motorsport Ranch in Cresson, Texas. Located just 20 minutes south of Fort Worth, Texas, this event at Motorsport Ranch marks event number five in the CMRA’s 2011 race season the halfway point. This will be the first of two stops for the CMRA this season at the physically demanding 1.7 mile road course, which will be run in the counter-clockwise direction. The event schedule kicks off on Friday with racer practice and the CMRA License School offered by Lone Star Track Days (www.lstd.com). Saturday’s schedule includes a full slate of Mini sprint races along with a 6-hour Big Bike endurance race. Sunday’s schedule is jam-packed with a full day’s worth of exciting and competitive Big Bike sprint races. Gates open at 6:00 a.m. each day and weekend entry into the event is only $15 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and just $10 on Sunday. Ride your street bike to the event and you’ll pay just $5 for entry on both Saturday and Sunday! Kids 12 and under are free. A spectator lap of the track will be conducted during the lunch break on Sunday, schedule and weather permitting.
