The Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association Returns to Eagles Canyon Raceway in Decatur, Texas This Weekend This coming weekend, September 23 -25, 2011, the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) returns to action at Eagles Canyon Raceway in Decatur, Texas. Located just a little bit Northwest of Fort Worth, Texas, this event at Eagles Canyon Raceway marks event number nine in the CMRA’s 2011 race season. This will be the final of three stops for the CMRA this season at the challenging 2.5 mile road course, which will be run in the counter-clockwise direction. The event schedule kicks off on Friday with a CMRA License school, racer practice and street-rider track day all provided by Lone Star Track Days (www.lstd.com). Saturday’s schedule includes a full slate of Mini Sprint races along with a Shogun Motorsports-sponsored 6-Hour Big Bike Endurance race. A generous $2500 cash purse is up for grabs for the top teams in all four classes! Sunday’s schedule is jam-packed with a full day’s worth of exciting and competitive Big Bike Sprint races. Weekend entry into the event is only $15 on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and just $10 on Sunday. Ticket price is good for the entire weekend! Ride your street bike to the event and you’ll pay just $5 for entry on both Saturday and Sunday! Kids 12 and under are free. A spectator lap of the track will be conducted during the lunch break on Sunday, schedule and weather permitting.
