This coming weekend, August 26 – 28, 2011, the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) returns to action at MotorSport Ranch in Cresson, Texas. Located just a little bit south of Fort Worth, Texas, this event at MotorSport Ranch marks event number eight in the CMRA’s 10-round 2011 race season. This will be the last of two stops for the CMRA this season at the challenging 1.7 mile road course, which will be run in the clockwise direction. The event schedule kicks off on Friday with a CMRA License school, racer practice and street-rider track day all provided by Lone Star Track Days (www.lstd.com). Saturday’s schedule includes a full slate of Mini sprint races, along with 2-hour Mini endurance and 4-hour Big Bike endurance races. Sunday’s schedule is jam-packed with a full day’s worth of exciting and competitive Big Bike sprint races. Weekend entry into the event is only $15 on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, and just $10 on Sunday. Ride your street bike to the event and you’ll pay just $5 for entry on both Saturday and Sunday! Kids 12 and under are free. A spectator lap of the track will be conducted during the lunch break on Sunday, schedule and weather permitting.
