Village Idiots end the 2020 CMRA ULW Endurance Series with a First Place Finish

Flower Mound, Texas – October 28, 2020 – Village Idiots endurance team wrapped up the 2020 CMRA ULW Endurance series taking 1st overall in the season finale 5-hour endurance race at MSR Houston in Angleton, Tx. The Idiots took the checkered flag 1st overall with a solid two lap lead, leading all but 7 of the 166 laps over Redline Racing (2nd place) and 212 Decals (3rd place). Village Idiots are multi-time overall endurance champions (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017) in the CMRA Championship Big Bike Endurance series. This year’s team consisted of some of the top riders in the CMRA series:

John Orchard (Owner)

Chris Headley (Captain)

Michael Klesel

Derek Thomas

Garet Tomlinson

John Orchard, Village Idiots Team Owner, states: “This was our first year in bringing the Village Idiots back together and competing in the CMRA ULW Endurance Series. Harry Tomlinson with GMAN Racing worked exceptionally hard all season to have our Kawasaki Ninja 400’s ready to race at every round.  Add to that the support and products from our terrific sponsors that help make pit stops fast and winning races possible. In order of tenure, riders Chris Headley, myself and Garet Tomlinson were back once again, and for 2020 the newest Idiots Michael Klesel and Derek Thomas were a great addition to our team combined with an awesome pit crew (Harry, Marian, Sasha, Haley and Allen) that made every race something to look forward to!  We finished on the box at every round this year and closed out the season winning two of the final three races. The CMRA puts on the best series in North America with top notch competition and we’re already looking forward to the 2021 season!”

The Village Idiots would like to thank their sponsors who were onboard for the 2020 season: #RaceworX | #RES | #RideDunlop | #M4Exhaust | #DrippinWet | #WoodcraftMotorcycles | #ArmourBodies | #GManRacing | #MotoLiberty | #Shorai | #HDPainting | #FastFrank
