The Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association Returns to Texas World Speedway in College Station, Texas This Weekend for the Season Finale of Racing. This coming weekend, October 21 -23, 2011, the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) returns to action at Texas World Speedway in College Station, Texas. Located just a little bit south of Aggie Land, this event concludes the CMRA’s 2011 race season. This will be the last of two stops for the CMRA this season at the challenging 2.9 mile, 15-turn road course, which offers a bit of everything high speed, flowing corners, challenging double apexes, and whoops section in the backfield. The event schedule kicks off on Friday with the CMRA License School, racer practice and street rider track day hosted by Lone Star Track Days (www.lstd.com). Saturday’s schedule includes a full slate of Mini sprint races, a 2-Hour Mini endurance, and a 5-Hour Big Bike endurance race. Sunday’s schedule is jam-packed with a full day’s worth of exciting and competitive Big Bike sprint races. Many class championships will come down to the wire this weekend! Weekend entry into the event is only $15 on Thursday, Friday or Saturday, and just $10 on Sunday. Ride your street bike to the event and you’ll pay just $5 for entry on both Saturday and Sunday! Kids 12 and under are free. A spectator lap of the track will be conducted during the lunch break on Sunday, schedule and weather permitting.
