Multi-time Colombian Champion Santiago Villa has signed with Team Hammer, Inc. to compete under Roadracingworld.com colors in the 2011 AMA Pro Daytona SportBike season. In 2010 Villa became the first man to win the overall Championship in three CCS Regions in the same year and also won three CCS National Championships. “I’m very exited to race with Team Hammer,” said Villa. “I have worked with the team for three amazing years. Now I think that with the new bike and all the information that we have, this will be an amazing season. I’m also very happy to have Eric Gray, who worked with me in my CCS program, rejoin the team as my crew chief for the 2011 season. The results I have had with Eric were incredible; I have great communication with him and trust him completely, and that’s very important in this sport. I also will be wearing Heroic Apparel, another brand that I feel very comfortable with. “I want to thank the whole team because they have been by my side in the good times but also in the bad times, and they are good people. I’m honored to race with this team.”
