Someone claiming to be Andrew Wright, who fled the United States more than a decade ago after being convicted of smuggling non-certified motorcycles into the country, has sent roadracingworld.com complaints about old news reports and has threatened to “expose” Roadracing World founder John Ulrich’s sordid past! (For the record, Ulrich has never been charged nor convicted of anything more serious than minor traffic violations, which resulted in tickets.)

When he fled the country, Wright claimed that he was unjustifiably convicted and was in fact innocent. Wright has also denied numerous complaints dating from as far back as 2000 from customers who said they were defrauded by his company, Superbike Racing, Inc., prior to Wright’s conviction and flight from the country.
Someone claiming to be Wright called Roadracing World today (April 10th, 2017), spoke to the receptionist and made threats, but declined to leave a number, saying “I don’t want to communicate with you.”
But using the contact form on Roadracingworld.com and listing Reason for Contacting as “I will bet you won’t put this into print,” a person listed their Name as “andrewwright” and their Company Name as “andrew wright,” and listed a phone number as well as an e-mail address, [email protected].
In the message section of the contact form, the person wrote:
“I have read your editorial including comments about me and my wrongful conviction, before you put any material into print don’t you think you should take at least a little time to research the evidence in the case properly before going into print.? If you had you would have known that your Government falsified the indictment and evidence to committed (sic) perjury to obtain a conviction .
“You know nothing of what transpired from 2000 to 2006. All you are interested in is to assassinate my character. Your (sic) an (sic) hypocrite and no better than the D.O.J that convicted me.
“You should take a long hard look at your own past record it’s not squeaky clean is it? So before you get a hard on for me take a long hard look at yourself.
“Your only concern is to vilify me as a criminal. it couldn’t be that I am innocent! could it?
“Like many thousands of poor unfortunate human beings that have been incarcerated in torture chambers by your corrupt U.S criminal judicial system.
“They were also innocent and got stitched up for crimes they did not commit.
“They spend decades in incarceration before being found not guilty and pardoned, with the proper compensation they deserve.
“Lets not forget the innocent that were put to death also after being stitched up by your criminal regime.
“With reference to Engel if he did not receive his Dymag wheels his credit card would have been re credited, and as for Alan Blair he was not conned into anything no money was asked for or taken from him. He is a dreamer without a pot to piss in wanting to worm his way into a free ride.
“Then there are the 1250 blacks that were murdered by your Gestapo cops in 2015
“All the illegal wars that were perpetrated on lies and false evidence not to mention the hundreds of millions of innocent people that were murdered just because you want to play judge and jury for the planet earth .
“God bless America the land of the free BULLSHIT and ARROGRANCE you can stick your country up your arse.
“I live in a free and democratic society with the wonderful gift of human rights something you lot will never have. Your country and society are rotten to the core. O’H (sic) I forgot you call it American Exeptionalism (sic) bullshit.

Convicted Felon and Fugitive Andrew Wright has contacted Roadracing World again, In reponse to an e-mail from Roadracing World‘s Michael Gougis, as seen below:
Subject: From: Michael Gougis, Roadracing World/Interview Request
Mr. Wright: My name is Michael Gougis, and I am an editor with Roadracing World & Motorcycle Technology. You had sent in a contact form this morning to the office, and I wanted to ask you a couple of questions. Specifically:
– Why have you chosen to make this statement at this time?
– What is the status of your legal case in the U.S., to your knowledge?
– Have you had contact with those who claim you have defrauded them?
– Have you been in contact with U.S. law enforcement?

Mr Gougis,
I have no desire or intention to communicate with Roadracing World. Mr Ulrich has seen fit to criminalise me and trash my character. There is a price to pay for these unwarranted actions, all I want RRW to do is publish the full contents of my email in your journal. If you fail to do this I will publish my email across the U.S..A
With regard to trying to contact me. Do not. I live in Europe and have no intention ever to return to the U.S I could not live in a country that is responsible for mass murder.
