CORTECH PERFORMANCE APPAREL & GEAR ANNOUNCES SPONSORSHIP OF MOTOAMERICA SUPERBIKE ATHLETE GARRETT GERLOFF

CALABASAS HILLS, CA: Cortech Performance Apparel & Gear is proud to announce the sponsorship of MotoAmerica Superbike athlete and two-time MotoAmerica Supersport Champion Garrett Gerloff. Cortech’s sponsorship will provide Garrett with custom-made race leathers and gloves as Gerloff competes for the Superbike national title as part of the Monster Energy/Yamalube/Yamaha Factory Racing Superbike team road racing effort in the MotoAmerica 2018 Championship.

“I’m very excited to re-sign with Cortech for this next stage of my career,” said Gerloff, “Cortech’s custom race leathers and gloves have always provided me with the fit and safety I demand. Cortech’s attention to detail and on-track support have been a real factor in augmenting my consistent success on the race track.”

“Garrett has been a great pleasure to work with. Cortech highly values our relationship with world-class professional road racing athletes in terms of product design, feedback and the application of technologies to high performance road racing suits. These high-level insights often find their way in to Cortech’s apparel offered for sale to motorcycling enthusiasts around the world. With Cortech as our performance brand, our work with world-class athletes like Garrett has certainly been key to Cortech being the brand and product line it is today,” said Vice President Director of Products for Cortech parent Helmet House, Inc., Mark Gandy.

Gerloff will compete in MotoAmerica’s Superbike class for the first time in 2018. “I’m very pleased to move up to the Superbike class with the factory Monster Energy/Yamalube/Yamaha Factory Racing effort. I couldn’t ask for a better bike and team to compete for in 2018. With Cortech providing me leathers and gloves once again, I feel I have a real shot at a Superbike championship in 2018,” added Gerloff.
