Cory West To Appear On ‘The Liberty Motorsports Hour’ Tomorrow

The Libery Motorsports Hour premieres the Saturday July 12th at 1:00pm central time. Scheduled guests this week are Cory West from the M4 EMGO Suzuki Team and Nic Jonsson of Krohn Racing as well as team Owner Tracy Krohn from the Rolex Grand Am Series. Hosted by ESPN 97.5 The Ticket in Houston, Texas, the weekly radio show will feature drivers and riders in the AMA Superbike and Rolex Grand-Am series. The show is broadcast live and listeners around the country are invited to call in at 713.780.ESPN (3776). Cory West is one of the fastest rising young stars in the AMA Superbike Paddock. He was the 2004 AMA Superbike Rookie of the year and has done a great job this year racing in the 600 supersport class for the M4 EMGO Suzuki Team. Cory’s 2008 statistics include: – Currently 6th in the standings of the AMA Supersport Series (After 6 rounds). – 5 top-10 finishes – 3 top-5 finishes Cory started his motorcycle road racing career with the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association based out of Texas. Nic Jonsson is our guest from the Grand Am Series and drives from Houston Owned Krohn Racing. Nic Jonsson is currently tied for 9th just past the halfway mark of the season (and still in championship striking distance). Nic is considered the professional’s “professional”. His career is a has spanned several continents since winning the Scandanavian Touring Car Championship in 1992 (in which year he also finished 2nd in the Formula 3 European Championship). Nic was factory test driver for Reynard, Andesign Inc. and Lola UK from 1994 through 1998 while also racing in the IRL and Indy Lights series in the United States. In 1995 he finished second in Formula Asia championship with five wins. Krohn Racing team owner Tracy Krohn will be in studio to discuss the the progress of his team and share some insight to the massive work involved with putting together a front running team.
