On lap 5, Attack Kawasaki’s Josh Hayes had pitted with mechanical problems. On lap 12, Team M4 EMGO Suzuki’s Haskovec pitted with terminal engine problems. At Lap 17, Roberts led Duhamel and Zemke, 1.117 second covering the lead trio, with Danny Eslick fourth, 17.338 seconds back.
