CRA Announces Increased Purse For Five-Hour Endurance Race At Brainerd

The Central Roadracing Association and Worldwide Machining & Welding are pleased to announce that the purse for the Worldwide Machining & Welding 5-hour endurance race has been increased to $11,000. This race, being run during the CRA’s final race weekend of the season from September 23-25, is expected to draw teams from across the country to battle it out on Brainerd International Raceway’s Donnybrooke Course. The payout for the race will be as follows: First Place Overall: $1,250 Second Place Overall: $750 GP4: 1st – $1,500 2nd – $750 3rd – $500 GP3: 1st – $1,500 2nd – $750 3rd – $500 GP2: 1st – $1,000 2nd – $500 3rd – $250 GP1: 1st – $1,000 2nd – $500 3rd – $250 There will be minimum grid sizes required to be met for a position payout to occur. For a first place payout three teams will need to start the race, a second place payout requires four starters and a third place payout requires five teams to start the race. No payouts will be given to teams that do not finish the race. Worldwide Machining & Welding is the main contributor to this event, they can be found online at ~http://wwmwinc.com~.
