The Central Roadracing Association will kick off its 2011 season this weekend at its home track of Brainerd International Raceway in Brainerd, MN. The CRA will be racing on the Competition Course at BIR this coming weekend, May 6 through May 8, the 2.5 mile road course that is a rider and fan favorite. The weekend will start on Friday May 6 with the first on-track new rider school of the year and licensed racer practices. Saturday’s schedule will include Supersport sprint races as well as Trophy Dash events, while Sunday will see more exciting sprint racing (Superbike and Grand Prix). This weekend is sure to feature exciting and competitive racing in both the expert and novice ranks. Spectators are welcome! Admission to this CRA weekend also includes admission to watch bracket drag racing on the drag strip, highlighting some of the Midwest’s top amateur drag racers.
