CRA To Kick Off 2007 Season This Weekend At Brainerd International Raceway

The Central Roadracing Association’s 2007 race season kicks off this weekend, May 4th, 5th and 6th at Brainerd International Raceway. With a schedule full of sprints, racers from around the region and beyond will be battling for thousands in winnings from Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki and Honda, as well as Michelin, Bridgestone, Pirelli, EBC, Silkolene, Ferodo and LeoVince. The first endurance race of the CRA’s second endurance series will take place on Saturday afternoon. The JackAss Racing and Customs team of Mark Nelson and Jason Jenkins will be looking to start off their 2006 Endurance Series Championship off right by fending off the Jenspeed team of Shane Keaveny and Fraser Scheibe, two teams from Shockwave Racing, along with several others. The CRA will also be using for the first time, its new AMB timing and scoring which is replacing its outdated DbCom based system. For more information about the CRA, please visit www.cra-mn.com
