eCRP 1.2, a purpose built Italian electric racing motorcycle is now reality After the official presentation of the prototype eCRP 1.0, CRP Racing has developed the final racing version for TTXGP After the official presentation of the prototype eCRP 1.0 in Birmingham on January 13th, CRP Racing is now ready with the final electric motorbike: the eCRP 1.2. The eCRP 1.2 has been created at the headquarters of CRP Racing in Modena Italy. Un like other electric racing motorcycles that have been conversions of traditional combustion engine chassis to electric, the eCRP is a purpose built electric racing motorcycle. The entire motorcycle designed from the ground up to be 100% electric. It is the result of skilled hands of its creators: CRP Racing, CRP Technology and Roberto Cevolini. CRP Racing has worked to combine the use of electrical propulsion in balance with a true racing chassis. Under the Technical Director Giampiero Testoni the eCRP 1.2 was engineered to properly accommodate the weight and dimensions of the electric power systems within the confines of a stiff and light frame. The use of innovative materials technologies and manufacturing methods has been led by the Chairman and Technical Director of CRP Technology, Franco Cevolini. Roberto Cevolini used his 40 years of experience working with top level teams and constructors in motorsports to help shape the Aerodynamics and Mechanical functioning of the new motorcycle. eCRP 1.2 is an excellent example of a next generation of racing electric vehicle that is fast, agile, responsive and easy to ride. The focus of applying high-tech typically seen from Silicon Valley with the passion of Italian racing heritage has created a motorcycle, under whose body work is a green heart, born pumping electrons. eCRP 1.2 can be bought (starting from Euros 40.000 ) or lease options are also available: Euros 5.000 + VAT for single race and Euros 18.000 + VAT for all season, Euros 10.000 as deposit.
