The LCR Honda Team have arrived in Aragon in north-eastern Spain for the 14th round of the MotoGP World Championship. The Motorland circuit has been on the calendar since 2010, and since then has become a popular venue for fans and riders alike, with Cal Crutchlow being one of those to sing the praises of the remote track.
The British rider finished the last event at Misano, his 100th career start, as the Top Independent Team rider across the line, and currently sits in eighth place in the standing with five rounds still remaining. At a track which historically has worked well for Honda riders, the 30 year-old will be hoping to get the best out of his RC213V this weekend and make an assault on the top spots once more.
#35 Cal Crutchlow
“Aragon is a good track, somewhere I really enjoy riding. I always come to this place looking forward to the race. It’s got a bit of everything, with a slow turn one but then some fast and flowing stuff.”
“Honda has been good over the years here, but this year with the acceleration problems the exit from turn 15 may be one of our weaker points so we’ll be putting a lot of focus on that. All in all, I’m excited about the weekend.”
