Custom Performance Inc. to partner with Michelin as trackside vendor for CCS/ASRA/WERA series in 2014.
Custom Performance, located in Fredericksburg, VA, is proud to announce its partnership with Michelin USA for the 2014 race season.
Custom Performance will be representing the Michelin brand as the official trackside provider for the CCS/ASRA Mid-Atlantic and Atlantic race series to include the events at VIR, Summit Point, and NJMP. Custom Performance will also service a few select WERA regional events. Additionally, Custom Performance will be the official tire vendor to all Team Pro-Motion Sportbike Club southern trackday events. These include over 40 dates at NCBike, Summit Point, and VIR. Custom Performance will be supplying racers with the latest Michelin Cup race tires in both DOT and Slicks with varied profiles and compounds for the ultimate selection of rubber.
Custom Performance Inc. is a full service motorcycle repair shop that specializes in track day preparation, race builds, and performance tuning. Owner, Gabe Picard, assists Team Pro-Motion Sportbike Club as a coach and is a Dynojet Certified tuner who has created custom maps for a number of happy racers and TPM customers.
Gabe states that his emphasis in the motorcycle business and track riding began as a love for the sport and has transitioned with the growth of the business to wanting to help both new and advanced riders alike become faster, safer riders through rider education and training. “It was a natural progression to offer trackside tire sales and service to our race community, and we are appreciative of the opportunity that has presented itself with David Grey and Michelin for this season,” said Gabe.
