CVMA Announces Longer Season, Winter Schedule For 2012-2013 The Chuckwalla Valley Motorcycle Club is going to take advantage of the mild, dry winters in the high deserts of Southern California and run a seven-round series over the fall, winter and spring of 2012 and 2013. The 2012-2013 CVMA season will begin with the event currently scheduled for Sept. 22-23, with the next two rounds of the 2012-2013 season set for Oct. 20-21 and Nov. 10-11. As is the CVMA tradition, each round is a double-header, with a full slate of races on Saturday and Sunday. Four additional events will be scheduled for January, February, March and April of 2013 to complete the 2012-2013 season. Dates will be released as soon as they are finalized. As the current CVMA season is at the halfway point and is taking its traditional break to avoid the summer heat, points scored in the September, October and November rounds of 2012 will count toward the championships of the six-round 2012 season already underway and also toward the seven-round 2012-2013 season. The Chuckwalla Valley Motorcycle Association owned and operated by motorcycle racers and enthusiasts races on the newest road circuit in Southern California. Easily accessible from the Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Phoenix metropolitan areas, the 2.68-mile Ed Bargy-designed course was created with motorcycle road racing in mind.
