The CVMA Winter Series has seen some great racing during the first two rounds and we expect to see more of the same for the rest of the season.

The dates for the first three rounds of the CVMA 2023/2024 Winter Series have also been set. To avoid the heat that is often experienced during September, the first event of the 2023/2024 series will be held in October. The series will still offer seven rounds of racing action. The schedule for 2023/2024 is:

Round 1 – Oct 7-8, 2023 [CW] 2x Points

Round 3 – Dec 16-17, 2023 [CW]

Round 4 – TBD Jan, 2024 [CCW]

Round 5 – TBD Feb, 2024[CW]

Round 6 – TBD Mar, 2024 [CCW]

Series Finale – TBD Apr, 2024 [CW] 2x Points

Chuckwalla Valley Raceway (CVR) hosts all the CVMA events, and its location in the California desert near Joshua Tree National Park features great winter weather. While other parts of the country are snowed in, CVR is usually sunny and warm, making it a great place to race! As a result, many top riders from all over the country come out to race with CVMA in the winter, which makes for some of the most competitive racing in the country.

The next round will be the week after the Thanksgiving holidays, December 3rd and 4th, so come out and work off some of those calories racing!

CVMA offers free reciprocity as a means of encouraging racers from other clubs to come out and compete. CVMA also offers a New Racers School for those starting out in racing on the Friday prior to each race weekend. Log on to www.cvmaracing.com to sign up or for more information.
