A native Californian, Beaubier grew up racing minis on Kart Tracks with SMRRC. Making his way up the ranks, he began competing in USGPRU and WERA. Establishing a winning reputation for himself, Beaubier was chosen to represent the United States in the first European Red Bull Rookies Cup. Earning two pole positions, a first and two second place finishes, Beaubier took a sixth place overall in the standings. In 2008, he was selected to join the MotoGP Academy/Training Program. During this time, he earned a 6th and 7th in the Spanish National Championship, a 2nd in the Mediterranean Championship and a 2nd in the AlpeAdria National Championship. In 2009 Beaubier competed in the 125 World Championships running in the top ten in some events. Last season, he ran in AMA Pro SuperSport.
