The PRAMAC-D’ANTIN Team has closed an agreement with British rider, Chaz Davies, to contest the last three races of the 2007 MotoGP season. Chaz Davies participated in the most recent Red Bull Gran Prix at Laguna Seca aboard the Ducati of the Pramac-d’Antin Team, performing remarkably as much during the Free Practices as during the Race, eventually settling into a race rhythm and posting lap times that were near the lead group. The 20 year old pilot’s history began at an early age, where at age 8 he started racing in the British Mini-Moto Championship. After three years in that Series, where he increased his skills in different categories, Chaz began to race in ever advanced Championships with honorable finishes. From 2002, Davies entered the world stage and competed in the 125cc and 250cc World Championships with outstanding results until leaving the series for the USA in 2007 where he raced the AMA Super Sport Championship and always fought for top ten positions. The rider has declared after the agreement: “I am very excited to have another opportunity to race in MotoGP with Pramac D’Antin. I am also very grateful to the team and Ducati for giving me this opportunity. Phillip Island has been kind to me in the past with the 250cc so I hope this will transfer onto the MotoGP bike although I expect to have to learn many more things. Of course I will try my best and I hope to have a lot of fun!”
