BobbleHeadMoto and Karns Performance to field Kevin Olmedo in the Daytona 200.

BobbleHeadMoto and Karns Performance have teamed up with Kevin Olmedo to contend the 79th running of the Daytona 200. Olmedo will be aboard the BobbleHeadMoto built Yamaha YZF-R6 with the engine built and tuned by Karns Performance.

Kevin Olmedo said, “I feel very excited to be able to race in the Daytona 200. As a child together with my dad and my brother I watched those races on television. Being able to participate while representing my country is something exciting for me. Working together with Emerson Amaya is a great help and happiness since the two of us represent El Salvador. I am very excited about it. It is a great opportunity that the Bobbleheadmoto team has given me and all the sponsors that support me. It’s a great team and I know that they work hard. We tested the bike at Homestead-Miami Speedway and we made great progress with crew chief Shiloh Salopek. I feel comfortable and ready for the race and I have been training to be able to give my best and enjoy that great race! ”

Olmedo will be alongside Shiloh Salopek, the Team’s Crew Chief. Salopek’s attention to detail and efficiency keeps her running the N2 Racing program in the MotoAmerica Supersport Series.
