Team LEXIN/CL Auto to field 2017 MotoAmerica Superstock 600 Champion, Jason Aguilar, in Daytona 200

In 2014, Jason Aguilar showed up at Daytona International Speedway for his first very first time at the track. It was also his professional AMA racing debut. His very first day at the track ended up with a front row qualifying position. Not satisfied with starting from the first row and ending the weekend with 2 finishes inside the top 10, Jason feels that he has unfinished business at Daytona. 2014 was the last year of AMA Pro Racing and MotoAmerica has not raced at Daytona, so Jason has not been able to return to deal with that unfinished business. Now, with the support of new sponsors Lexin and CL Auto, Jason will be competing in the Daytona 200 as Rider/Manager of Team Lexin/CL Auto.

Jason Aguilar: “Ever since my first weekend at Daytona, I have wanted another shot at Daytona, but the opportunity was just not there with the teams that I was on. In 2017, I started my own team and won the MotoAmerica Superstock 600 Championship. For 2019, I have my own team again, and with some great new sponsors, we are returning to Daytona to compete in the 200. There is going to be some great competition this year, and we are looking forward to the challenge.”

About LEXIN Electronics, Inc: Lexin is committed to bringing riders high quality and premium products that keep them connected and enhance their riding experience. Formed in 2006 as a manufacturer of OEM Car audio systems, Lexin moved into OEM Home automation and in 2010 entered the moto-electronics market with the release of our first helmet Bluetooth kits. For a few years Lexin served as the OEM manufacturer for another brand, and in 2015 we chose to strike out on our own in moto-electronics with one goal: provide high quality, reliable units to the riding community at a user-friendly cost.

Jason Aguilar: “With a race like the Daytona 200, team communication is essential to successful race strategy and pit stops. We will be using Lexin communication equipment in the pits, for spotters, and in my helmet to effectively communicate during the race.”

In addition to LEXIN and CL Auto, the team is also supported by the following sponsors:
