In addition to competing in the 79th Daytona 200 March 14 at Daytona International Speedway, MP13 Racing owner Melissa Paris and her rider/husband Josh Hayes will be actively promoting the All Kids Bike initiative.

The All Kids Bike® initiative is a national movement led by the Strider Education Foundation to place Kindergarten PE Learn-To-Ride Programs into public schools for free, using donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations.

“I can’t imagine a childhood without riding bikes,” Paris told Roadracingworld.com. “It’s crazy to me to learn that so many kids won’t have the opportunity to learn to ride a bicycle. I’m really honored to be an ambassador for All Kids Bike and for having the opportunity to change this trend! Motorcycles are such a huge part of my family’s life… and learning to ride a bicycle is the first step to becoming a motorcycle rider! So, from a selfish point of view, I want to help grow motorcycling, and I know introducing bikes to kids is a good start! I’m hoping that by spreading the word about this amazing initiative, we can raise the $4000 it takes to fund one school’s learn to ride program, and give thousands of kids the lifetime love of two wheels!”

MP13 Racing and All Kids Bike have established a special webpage to accept donations at https://support.allkidsbike.org/mp13-racing.

MP13 Racing’s fund-racing goal of $4,000 will fully fund a learn-to-ride program at one elementary school in Oceanside, California, where Paris, Hayes, and their son Hawk reside.
