Following a less than stellar start to the season, D&D Cycles racing is ready for action at round four of the AMA Pro Racing series scheduled for May 1-3, at Barber Motorsports Park. The experienced team has added two veterans to their lineup. Heading up the team in the Moto GT 1 class will be Scott Jensen with Pensacola, Florida’s Rob Mclendon on the factory supported Triumph 675 Daytona. This will be Jensen’s first experience with the pint sized triple. In the Moto GT2 class, Georgia native, Lyles Sanders will be teamed with Tampa, Fl resident Greg Melka. This will be the second time this team has paired together but the first on the D&D Suzuki SV 650. “We are looking for strong finishes in both classes” stated Mclendon. “We have the talent and the backing to run at the front. All we have to do is be consistent and ride smart. The Triumph Daytona 675 is the total package and we have two to choose from. We are very grateful for the help that Triumph Motorcycles America has given us and its time we repay them with an outstanding finish.” The shop has been in complete chaos since Daytona where we brought home a completely totaled SV. D&D Cycles is a full line Triumph, Ducati, and KTM dealer which also shares the service facility with dealership duties. “Make no mistake about it, we are coming to Birmingham to turn our year around.” D&D Cycles would like to thank: Triumph Motorcycles, GMD Computrack, and all the fans who have supported our team.
