The NGM Forward Racing Team returns to Spain
The MotoGP circus visits Spain for the third time this season, heading to the Motorland Aragon circuit for the 14th round of the year.
Home GP for the Spanish rider of the NGM Forward Racing team, Aleix Espargaro is determined to do a good race and gain important points, following the unlucky race at Misano. His team mate Alex De Angelis arrives in Spain after intense days of magnetic TECAR and laser therapies in order to recover from scaphoid fracture, revealed from the magnetic resonance scan carried out on Monday after the Italian round.
The Aragon GP will be an important appointment also for the NGM Forward Racing Moto2 riders Mattia Pasini and Florian Marino, who at Aragon replaces Simone Corsi, who is recovering from the incident during the British GP. After his debut on board of the Kalex in Misano, Florian is optimist to continue the work started in Italy with his new team. Strong of the great recovery in his home GP, Mattia looks forward to race at Aragon, a track that includes a variety of corner types, as well as some modest climbs and descents.

“I like Aragon and for me it’s a kind of home GP. The track is faster than Misano and it’s fun to ride. We know that we could suffer on the long straight, which is almost 1 km long, but we arrive determined to do well to recover from Misano”.

“We arrive in Spain very motivated thanks to the good result we got in my home GP. Misano race weekend was a strange one, as I struggled throughout the free practices and the qualifying, but on Sunday I found a good feeling with the machine. Argon will be the last European round before the three overseas races, so it will be important to get a good result to face the last part of the season with a great motivation”.

“Aragon has a variety of corners and some climbs and descents. The circuit is relatively new to the championship, just its fifth time hosting MotoGP, and I have never raced there on board of a MotoGP bike so I’m excited. The only incognita will be the pain as I’m recovering from a scaphoid fracture. After the GP of San Marino, I have done a lot of magnetic TECAR and laser therapies to recover in a shorter time. Fortunately I can race in Aragon, but regarding a possible result at the moment the pain is an incognita, as I will know only when I jump on the bike on Friday for the FP1”.

“I like a lot Aragon and I look forward to race there. After my debut in Misano I arrive in Spain with some more experience so I’m confident that we can do well with the Kalex of the NGM Forward Racing Team. On Friday we will start working with the team where we left at Misano and I will try to improve my results and close the gap with the guys in front of me”.
