Yesterday, the Ducati Pramac rider, Randy De Puniet, was subjected to a surgery to remove the screw from the left knee which was inserted into his broken leg after last year’s crash at Sachsenring. The operation was successful, now the Frenchman will be taking some time off before the third race of the MotoGP in Estoril. “I’m fine -said De Puniet-, though now that the local anesthesia has lost its effect I feel a bit ‘of pain. One chapter closes, now without this screw I hope to improve my performance on track. In these days I hope to reach my physical condition in view of race in Estoril”.
